The only thing that Circle Six could not do for us was
host the staff training on Saturday evening because they had another
group. That didn’t stop “wonder
woman!” Pamala called her wonderful
FCC friends and asked if they could house some of the staff on Saturday
evening and then she opened her home up and hosted the training and
provided food and rich fellowship for the staff. FCC welcomed the staff for
worship on Sunday morning. Leslie,
at the Central Area Office, either called or e-mailed all the campers and
on Sunday afternoon all 43 campers and a complete staff showed up at Circle
Six for an incredible week of camp. The camp was over the 4th of July and the “Created To Be
Me” staff put together a wonderful 30-minute fireworks show accompanied
with music. Pamala and her
keynoting partner, Rev. Kyle Dennis, offered stained glass projects during
free time and they, along with some members of the staff, made a large
stained glass piece of the Circle Six emblem as a gift to the camp for all
of their help to make the week an awesome Eighter’s experience.
